Teamwork has been a mark of our marriage, and over the years we’ve learned to function in a complementary way: building on one another’s strengths and helping each other grow in areas that “need improvement.” Ultimately, we believe that we are better together, and confident that serving as a team will greatly benefit our clients.
Along with our complementary strengths, we bring a broad range of combined experience to the table. Matt has a degree in business management and years of experience in working with small, private companies. Rachel speaks Spanish, has worked in social services and owns a home-based business offering sewing and home decor services.
Collaborative church work actually brought us to Whidbey Island over two decades ago. While we moved away for school in 2005, we were delighted to return to Oak Harbor in 2012, with the intent of settling here permanently. We are grateful for the opportunity to raise our four children in such a beautiful place, often pinching ourselves that “we get to live here.”
Our love for the island goes beyond appreciating its stunning vistas. We love the people and are deeply committed to building community and fostering connectedness here. Assisting others in finding a home -- not just a house, but a HOME -- is one way we can help give others a sense of belonging. Guiding a family through the sale of their current home, because they have new orders from the Navy or are entering a new season in life, is an equal honor.
Are you looking to buy a home? Perhaps you need help selling your house? These are major life events involving significant decisions. In whichever of these situations you find yourself, we are eager to bring our brand of complementary teamwork -- two agents, operating from their combined strengths, to serve you.
